The year was 2009, when we first became friends on Myspace. We texted one another just about every single day. We went approximately 11 years without ever physically meeting each other.

2020 was a year that changed our lives, forever.

On Saturday, February 29th, 2020, we FINALLY met in person for our very first date. We were both very nervous and were extremely close to cancelling on one another (lol). We met at the movies and could barely watch the movie due to us talking so much. We were beyond excited to finally meet in person after soo many years of having a social media friendship.

Over the next few weeks, we talked on the phone multiple times a day and went out weekly. It didn't take us long to realize how strong of a bond we truly had developed, because we had 3 major things in common; Our love and faith in God, our love for family, and our love for Old School/R&B music.

Throughout the years of our relationship, we have created many memories together. We are ready to tie the knot, together, and experience our new chapter in life together as "The DPs"
